There are usually two (2) witnesseswho make a statement about the husband of the Applicant, or the soldier, if they served together, how long they knew him, if they were related, etc.

                           Other Information that may be found are Mortuary Warrant application, showing where the deceased is buried, cause of death, etc. Sometimes a death certificate was submitted but not in all cases.
