DOUBLE REBURIAL SERVICES AT Priddy TUESDAY AFTERNOON With the Rev. A.H. Muehlbrad in charge at the church and Mills County ex-soldiers at the graveside, double reburial services were held at the Zion Lutheran Church at Priddy Tuesday Afternoon of this week for two Priddy Cousins who made the supreme Sacrifice in World War Two. They are Anton C, Hohertz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald A. Hohertz who died of wounds on Okinawa on May 27, 1945, and Edward C. Rost, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rost, who was killed in action in Italy on April 17, 1945. Interment was in the Zion Cemetery west of Priddy. Color bearers were Howard Campbell and Loran Jones. Color Guards - Floyd Langford and Arnold Kelly. Pallbearers - Harold Yarborough, John Gwin, Garth Carter, L. V. Benningfield, Raymond Sebolt, Burl Holland, Vernon Hallford, Stillman Elkins, Charles Dennard, Alec Shaw, J. C. Wesson, Jesse Saegert. = - = - =eagle2-=-=-=-= |
