The Cherokee Independent School District offers students and outstanding opportunity for education! The student-teacher ratio is 8.52 students per teacher that benefits the student and teacher and allows a wonderful educational experience.
Realizing that technology is an important factor in todays educational environment, each classroom is equipped with two computers! In addition, there is a computer lab on the Elementary campus and two computer labs on the High Scool campus.
Cherokee ISD is noted for academic excellence as well as sports achievements with students participating in Six-man Football, Basketball, Track and Field, Tennis and Golf.
